The solution includes the step by step procedure to install Google Apps in the Nokia X series with or without using the computer. It depends on the device update version.

To root your Nokia X (stock ROM), the first thing you have to do is to download Framaroot Apk version 1.9 in your Nokia X. then, install and open the Apk. The next thing you have to do is to choose Install SuperSu and click on Grandalf. After that, please reboot your device.


For those who have Nokia X after version 11.1.1 update, then you cannot root it using Framaroot app. In this case, you can use Kingroot instead. Sixth, go to King Root Nokia folder that is extracted earlier and then open Superroot.exe. Seventh, wait for a while to open the King Root software and detect your device. Eighth, you will find the Root button. All you have to do is to click on it and then if everything goes correct, your device will be able to be rooted and you have to start for reboot. To check the root status, please use the root checker app that you can get from Google Play Store.

For those who want to Install Google Apps such as Playstore, Gmail, Maps, Youtube, and so on in Nokia X, first of all, your device must be rooted. You can follow the steps given above to root your device. Second, download the required files, third, copy the zip file to the mobile SD and extract it there. Third, open Google Play Store and download Root Explorer. Fourth, open Root Explorer, navigate through the extracted folder and copy all the apk files. Fifth, go to Root folder > System > Apps and paste all the apks. Sixth, click yes if you are asked to give the app read and write permissions. Then, reboot your device and install Google Apps. Seventh, when the device is boot up, you first link the Google account by opening Google Play Store and you are done.
